Tinplate material

Our metal packagings are primarily made from tinplate, which is a thin sheet of low-carbon steel electroplated with a thin layer of tin. This combination leverages the strength and rigidity of steel with the corrosion resistance of tin, making it idea for packaging epecially for food products

Tinplate thickness

0.19-0.35mm

Mostly common use 0.23mm, 0.25mm, 0.28mm thickness

Tin coating weight range

Equal 2.8g/m² on both sides

T2(T52)
T3(T57)DR8

T1(T50): very soft and suitable for deep drawing

T2(T52): medium and suitable for all cans

T3(T57): half hard and suitable for can bodiesDR8: extra hard and suitable for click clack tin lid
