How to ensure the safe transportation of all metal tins?

Metal tin boxes and tin cans are easy to get scratches and distortion during long time transportation. Here we share some packaging solution to reduce this risk at low cost.

    • First protection- PP bag packaging or bubble bag packaging

    During transportation, cans are prone to scratches caused by friction between them, especially those with printed patterns. Therefore, TinsPkg will place each tin box or can into an individual PP bag, and wrap it with paper or a bubble bag to effectively prevent the patterns from being scratched and scraped.

    Second protection- Cardboard egg divider

    For some large or special-shaped cans, TinsPkg typically uses cardboard egg dividers for separation and protection. We utilize special grooves or compartments based on the size and shape of the metal cans to secure them in place, preventing them from rolling during LCL or air shipments.

    Third protection- Double carton boxes(optional)

    To further enhance the protection of the tin boxes or tin cans, we can use two carton boxes, one as inner box, another as the final exterior packaging, the carton box with shipping mark information.

    For large quanity of custom tin boxes or tin cans, with many cartons, you can also choose to add shipping pallets before loading to the shipping container, with the shipping pallets, it will be much easier to unload the tins when arrived and what’s more important, to avoid unnecessary damage caused by manual handling.
